Hello bloggers! In this last session I will share my experience with the English subject. For a long time, English was a great challenge in my life. Actually to this day it is a great challenge. I'm one of those people who don't listen to much music in English because I don't understand it very well. Anyway I try to find their lyrics so I can understand them and that way I learn their lyrics and can sing them haha. I am also part of the team that has to watch movies with Spanish dubbing or subtitles, I must confess that I would love to be able to see them with the original audio and understand them from start to finish. Really thanks to the English course at the university I have been able to overcome these barriers and little by little I am understanding once again. One of my favorite series is Grey's Anatomy, and recently I've seen a couple of episodes in their original language and I understood a lot from the episode. I must confess that speaking it is very dif...

They can always do a little more. When I entered the race I had many illusions that little by little were collapsing. First I was very excited about the school, the University of Chile has great prestige at the national level. As an institution, it leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if it will happen in all the faculties, but in the headquarters of arts, its infrastructure is deplorable, in winter the rain flooded most of the classrooms. It should also be noted that the tools necessary to carry out artistic projects are very old. In ceramics, the kilns are a danger for the students, several times classmates have had accidents because they are not in good condition. These problems are repeated in most of the workshops and the deans of the university have been informed, but they have never done anything. On the other hand, the use of the workshops is very strict, they cannot be used freely and there are projects that require more than academic hours. The spaces are very small...

I have always wanted to know many parts of Chile, especially the south of Chile. I went when I was little with my parents, but I think I didn't enjoy it as much as I should and the truth is that I don't even remember half of the parts that we went to. I only have photos in many places We pass through many locations, such as; Frutillar, Los Angeles, Villarrica, Puerto Montt, Temuco, Osorno and several more that I don't remember. It was a car trip of about three weeks. The south has something magical, which makes me want to visit it. Its beautiful landscapes, full of wild trees, waterfalls and fauna, captivate me a lot. I would like to meet Mapuche communities and imbue myself with their culture. They say that Chiloé is a magical land, that the people who live there are very affectionate with tourists. I would like to do the trip by car, starting from Santiago, stopping at different locations, staying for a day or two touring as much as I can and, if possible, taking my pup...

Hello bloggers! Today is a free topic, so I talked a little about myself and my grandmother. I grew up in a very large family. My maternal grandmother has 8 children. That's why I have many cousins. Since I was little I have had a very good relationship with all of them. I live in Santiago de Chile, in the commune of Macul with my grandmother. My grandfather died shortly before the pandemic from cancer that affected his entire body. Since my grandfather died, my grandmother lost part of her. My grandmother currently lives with Alzheimer's. It is difficult to take care of her, but the good thing is that she is not very advanced yet. She forgets about everyday things. He never remembers what he had for lunch, if he took his medicine or what year it is. Sometimes he asks about my grandfather, it is sad to remind him that he died and that he will never see him again. We both miss him very much. Of course, there is something that we enjoy together and that she has not yet forgotte...

Hello bloggers!, I tell you: It has never caught my attention to continue my studies after finishing my degree. I am a faithful believer that art does not fit into a diploma. for the same reason I would not do a diploma in any other university. I think I would like to take independent workshops, with artists that I really like. In this area (like many others) you never stop learning. But I don't think that knowledge is granted by a diploma. As I mentioned in the previous blog, I would very much like to develop a career as a professional tattoo artist. This type of knowledge can only be granted by professional tattooists who have been in the field for many years. Fortunately these artists teach courses or workshops, where they teach their techniques to perform tattoos and obtain impressive results. Most seminars address a particular technique, as tattoo artists tend to focus on one technique. Like doctors, each one has their specialization. Some of the techniques would be: -realis...

Hello bloggers! Today I am going to tell you about my future job. From a very young age I have loved art. In math, I was drawing. (You will understand that we are not good friends). I let my imagination fly and I had a lot of fun drawing and illustrating. Always stand out in the field of Visual Arts. They chose me when they had to draw on the blackboard, or decorate the mural in the classroom. When I grew up I thought that you couldn't make a living from art in a country like Chile. It is not usually a highly valued career. When I reached the end of high school, I plucked up the courage and, against all odds, went on to study for a bachelor's degree in fine arts. At university I met a really beautiful world. I loved seeing so many people interested in art! I learned that there are different ways to practice art. Frankly, the one that caught my attention the most is the tattoo art. I've been learning for a couple of years, and I really want to work on this all my life. It ...

hello bloggers! Today I will tell you about the degree I decided to study, and how it has gone so far. I am currently studying a degree in plastic arts at the University of Chile. But I confess that it is not my first race. I graduated from school in 2014. In 2015, I entered the Alberto Hurtado University to study Pedagogy in Visual Arts. In that establishment I attended until the third year. But I realized that I did not want to work as a teacher, I did not like the educational area very much and I decided to change the university and program. In 2018 I entered the University of Chile at the Faculty of Arts and I am currently in the fourth year. I have always loved art. Since I was little my life has revolved around art. My family supported me with the decision, they were happy that I studied something that I really like. The faculty of arts has made me very happy. I found good friends and excellent artists…. each with different points of view. I am very proud of them! Wh...
